How to use the Fratco App
Four steps cover most of what you will do. If you get stuck, call Derek. There are no silly questions.
Sign in
Go to the sign in page. Type your email and password, then tap Sign in.
Tap New quote
It is the big red button. Type the customer's name first.
Pick the pipe
Tap the kind of pipe, then tap + or type how many. The price and trucks add up on their own.
Save it
Tap Save quote, or Save + PDF to get a copy for the customer.
Other things you can do
Check a price
Open Price lists. Tap a price level button at the top. Pipe is priced per foot, fittings per piece.
Plan a truckload
Open Truck loads to see how many pieces of each size fit on one truck. A quote does this math for you.
Follow up
Open My quotes. The top list shows quotes that need a call. Mark each one Won or Lost when you hear back.
Questions people ask
I forgot my password. What do I do?
On the sign in page, tap Forgot your password? Type your email and we send you a link. Open the link on the same device, pick a new password, and you are in. The link works once and stops working after an hour.
How do I get an account?
Ask your Fratco admin for an invite code. Then go to Create an account, type the code, your name, your email, and a password.
Where do the prices come from?
From the current Fratco price sheets, loaded fresh each time you open the app. You only see the price levels your account is set up for. The date the prices took effect is at the bottom of the New quote page.
Why is my truck count lower than I expected?
Smaller pipe rides inside bigger pipe. That is called nesting. The app works out how much fits inside and how much rides alongside, so the count is often lower than you would guess. You can switch a quote to Not nested under More options to compare.
Is freight in the price?
The first 200 miles from the plant are already in the list price. Type the delivery miles and the app adds freight for anything past that.
Will I lose my quote if I close the page?
No. An unfinished quote is kept on that device until you save it or start over. Saved quotes live in My quotes on every device you sign in on.
How do I send a quote to a customer?
Tap Save + PDF. You get a Fratco PDF to attach to an email. You can also tap Copy summary and paste it into an email or text.
The words are too small. Can I make them bigger?
Yes. Tap Text size in the menu (or under More on a phone). Each tap makes the words bigger. You can also pick light or dark under Account.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Open the site in your phone browser. On an iPhone, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen to keep it like an app. On Android, tap the menu and then Install app.
Are the Facts page numbers Fratco test results?
No. They are plastic pipe industry research findings, reworded by Fratco. The tag on each fact says whether it is about HDPE or plastic pipe in general.
